Learn How to Peacefully Seek Justice

In 2018, the Boston University's School of Health, along with the University of Pennsylvania revealed in a study that the high rates of unarmed African Americans being killed at the hands of the police leads to more incidents of depression. In 2020, not much has changed. Across the United States, protesters has been outpouring their hurt after the death of George Floyd. Residents in Minneapolis has nearly burned down their city to get their point across. However, there are better ways to seek justice without destruction.

Consider taking the time to write a letter to Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey. Send the letter to 350 South 5th Street, Room 331 Minneapolis, MN 55415 . Also the mayor can be reached at 612-673-2100

Created by Philonise Floyd, brother of George Floyd, the donations will cover funeral and burial expenses, grief counseling, lodging and travel expenses for future court proceedings. A portion of the funds will go to the Estate of George Floyd, which benefits his children and their educational funding.
